Even though Nautilus Pier 4 has only been open for a couple of months, the seafood-centric eatery is already making waves in Boston. From its tapas-style small plates to the stunning craft cocktails, every aspect of the menu has been carefully designed. That also includes the takeout menu, which still offers plenty of options for those who feel more comfortable dining at home.
If you come to dine with friends or family, start by sharing some of the small plates. The tempura East Coast oyster tacos are bound to be a hit, featuring fried local oysters wrapped in nori and sushi rice with chili barbecue sauce and wasabi aioli on top. Pair them with the day boat scallops in tomato confit or the charcoal-roasted prawns. For the main course, you have two options. You can order your own large plate—perhaps the blue crab fried rice or the short rib steak lettuce wraps—or you can share a “table feast.” Options include a whole roasted Peking duck, steamed local black bass with rice noodles and ground pork, or a Niman Ranch prime ribeye steak smothered with black garlic steak sauce.
